We’re living now in a time of freefall towards tyranny. If you’ve been paying attention to what is happening, you will be aware that we are not only facing a future of ecological collapse, but also one in which advanced technologies of control and manipulation are playing havoc with our cultures and leading to the breakdown of the social structures and values which have underpinned our world in the recent past. Why is this happening and who is behind it?
Let us imagine for a moment that you are one of the global overlords, a controller of the algorithms, someone who takes an elite versus the little people world view. You look around the world and you see the results of unrestrained consumer capitalism and human greed; you see a gigantic mess and the imminent breakdown of climate systems, massive pollution, alternate floods and droughts leading to starvation and huge waves of migration and all the other phenomena with which we are so depressingly familiar. This is serious, it is starting to impinge on your own lifestyle. Something has to be done and ideally, it also has to make you a lot of money; but there’s a problem – there are too many people in the world and too much freedom and democracy are getting in the way of the necessary measures. The little people love their cars and flying abroad for international holidays – they are never going to vote for policies that might curtail their freedoms. Drastic change is therefore needed, and the best way to motivate the little people to change their ways is through fear.
Fear has always been the means that tyrants have used so that they can exercise power over their populations. It was of course used effectively by Adolf Hitler in driving the German people towards war in 1939. It was explained by Hermann Goering in an interview with Gustave Gilbert, an American psychologist, during the Nuremburg tribunal:
“Why, of course, the people don’t want war,” Goering shrugged. “Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece. Naturally, the common people don’t want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood.
But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship.” (…)
“There is one difference,” [Gilbert] pointed out. “In a democracy the people have some say in the matter through their elected representatives, and in the United States only Congress can declare wars.”
“Oh, that is all well and good, [replied Goering] but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.”
It works the same way in any country. It has worked that way throughout our history. It worked for George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, Tony Blair et al in driving the USA and the UK to war with Iraq and the subsequent ‘war on terror’. It is working that way now. Dr Thomas Hardtmuth, in his book What Covid-19 can teach us,1 has said the following:
“Intriguingly, the institutions who are now managing the global pandemic are the same ones who were previously active in the campaign against terrorism and the threat of biological weapons. The Center of Health Security at the John Hopkins University, which has played such a leading role in the corona crisis, was previously called the Center for Civilian Biodefence Studies. It was essentially a military institution which in the years since 9/11 has kept alive the images of fear about the terrorist threat from bioweapons, smallpox and other killer viruses.”
“During regular international conferences attended by high-ranking representatives from government, economic interests, pharmaceutical companies and the military, this organisation ran exercises in minute detail to manage terror scenarios with millions of deaths. One such crisis simulation, called Event 201, took place on 18th October 2019 in a New York luxury hotel. This time it was not a terrorist attack but the threat posed by a deadly coronavirus mutant that was simulated. A crisis management programme was designed, the individual measures of which bore a remarkable resemblance to those introduced in real life three months later.”
What Dr Hardtmuth has not mentioned in his book is that Event 201 was funded and organised by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which has also given funds to ten of the vaccine-producing companies as well as John Hopkins University, the World Health Organisation, Dr Anthony Fauci, Professor Chris Whitty, Imperial College London and many of the other prominent players in this pandemic. Nor does he mention that, as has just emerged, a patent filing for the coronavirus was taken out with the US Patent Office in 2018 by the Pirbright Institute, with funding from Bill and Melinda Gates, the Wellcome Trust and the European Commission.
In connection with this Event 201 simulation exercise, Dr Hardtmuth also quotes from a book Chronicle of an Announced Crisis by Paul Schreyer:
“The significant thing about this exercise as well as the subsequent real-life situation was a conflation of fear, mass deaths, national emergency, over-extension of the state, restrictions on freedom, vaccines, pharmaceutical regulation and media strategy. More directly stated, a health emergency leads to a global demand for vaccines which in turn requires that corporations play a more active international policy-making role in order to finance, produce and distribute them and that the inevitable resistance from the population is met with PR strategies and the media. That is what the exercise was about – and that is what is happening today.”
Dr Hardtmuth concludes: “It is clear to any observant person that the numbers are being manipulated and everything is being done here to maintain fear and panic at the highest possible level.”
At the start of the pandemic, I could scarcely have imagined that so many of my fellow citizens in the West were going to be taken in. As former Lord Chief Justice, Jonathan Sumption put it last November: “The British public has not even begun to understand the seriousness of what is happening in our country, many – perhaps most – of them don’t care or won’t care until it’s too late. They instinctively feel that the ends justify the means, the motto of every totalitarian regime that has ever existed.”
But I’ve decided that it’s not only acceptable to take a different path from all those people who have either bought into or are unwilling to challenge the tyranny that surrounds us, it’s essential. I’ve already written about my personal experience – the British government is continuing with its plans to make it illegal for people, including me, to work in care homes unless we have had both jabs. They did this by passing a Statutory Instrument (just before the House of Commons broke up for its holidays) to amend the Health & Social Care Act of 2008, so that it would not receive any further scrutiny in the House of Lords before it became law. This is a prime example of state tyranny, removing as it does the human right of individuals not to be coerced into taking medication which has not yet completed its trials. This is a pattern that is being repeated across the world.
One notable feature of our freefall to tyranny has been the corruption of science through the suppression of dissent; stories are now legion of doctors and scientists being silenced, losing their jobs and being vilified in public by some colleagues if they raise any questions.
Another feature has been the corruption of the news media so that any voices raising doubts about government policy are censored. The BBC is now notorious for its failures to report anything contrary to the government’s agenda and both the BBC and The Guardian have been taking money from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. According to a tweet on July 20th from the journalist James Delingpole, “Boris Johnson has privately admitted to all the MSM (mainstream media) editors that he’s not in charge, that he’s just obeying orders. Their silence is at least as inexcusable as Boris’s compliance.”
Is this true or even probable? I’ve no way of knowing. But I’m very aware of the censorship and non-reporting of anything that might cast doubt on the wisdom of vaccinating every single person. It also begs an intriguing question: who is issuing orders to Johnson?
I’m not going to speculate on that in this post, except to say that the wilder shores of conspiracy theory are beginning to look increasingly plausible. But there is another factor which should be mentioned: I have written here and here about the transhumanist agenda that’s at the core of so many of the changes we are facing. I have also touched on the deeply disturbing Chinese model of ‘social credit’. We are now facing the Western version of ‘social credit’, which will be delivered by way of vaccine passports.
The Belarussian tribute act that is today’s British government denied it for months. Michael Gove said there were no plans for them. Backbenchers professed that the idea was unethical, unthinkable and unenforceable. The vaccines minister, Nadhim Zahawi, said the public could hold him to his promise that vaccine passports were never going to become a reality.
Yet in a rather predictable turn of events, Boris Johnson has this week announced that all over-18s will need to demonstrate that they have received both doses of a vaccine in order to enter nightclubs, venues and other large gatherings. From now on, ‘proof of a negative test will no longer be enough.’ And as a worker in a care home, I will have to have a vaccine passport so as to be able to demonstrate to the Care Quality Commission inspectors that I have had both jabs, to which they will soon add the need to demonstrate that I have had an annual flu jab, which will then doubtless be followed by insistence on regular Covid booster jabs.
But why should anyone need a vaccine passport? We were previously told that if you’ve had your two jabs, you’re protected. You don’t need to know anyone else’s immune status. But as our new secretary of state for health, Sajid Javid has just discovered, you can still catch Covid-19 even if you’ve had both jabs. So what is the point of the vaccines? Javid’s story for now is that he got a milder version because he was vaccinated, so we should still get the jabs. But vaccine passports protect nobody.
What these passports will do, however, is give huge power to our overlords, the masters of the algorithms. Anyone who controls the vax passport database and any algorithm governing what it permits and denies, has absolute control over every aspect of your life. Do you want to visit a sports stadium, or a museum or a theatre? Invalid vax pass, no entry. Now imagine the rules are tightened up, as they will be as soon as the basic concept has been established: no entry to a supermarket or shops or pubs or restaurants, no entry to buses or trains or planes. Your life will be so circumscribed that it will in effect become impossible to exist without a vax pass.
This is not my imagination: this has been planned for over years by our global overlords, the ones who issue orders to Boris Johnson and other national leaders. It is now being delivered. It’s already happening in Israel and it’s coming here soon. France is currently rushing a vaccination passport law through the French National Assembly. Without this vax pass, you will not be able to get into restaurants, trains, workplaces, art galleries, museums and cinemas. Other European countries, including Italy, Greece and Austria are bringing in similar Covid certification following the announcement from French President Emmanuel Macron. It’s a little remarked feature of the president’s crackdown on the vaccine hesitant that the one group he will depend on to enforce his new law has been specifically excluded from complying with it. Firefighters, nurses and teachers, and soon, children over 12, are all to be subject to mandatory jabs. But not, curiously, the police.
How much vaccine coercion will Boris Johnson use? Given his track record to date, it’s highly likely we will be coerced to be vaccinated, either by government diktat or more likely, by government forcing businesses to do its dirty work for them. Either that or you’ll be rapidly marginalised from society. And once you’ve been vaccinated, the limited freedoms allowed you can be withdrawn at any moment.
Such attitudes of course radiate out into wider society and cause dissension between ordinary people. Here are just two examples of these polarised attitudes of which I’ve become aware in my own locality: one, comes from someone who has a mother in a care home. This person does not want to have the jabs and has not only been told that as a result she won’t be able to visit her mother but that unless she has both jabs her mother will no longer be able to stay in the care home! The second comes from someone who runs a kindergarten – she has been told by some parents that if she herself has the jabs, then their children will be removed from the kindergarten. Tyranny runs in both directions…
What we are currently experiencing with this artificially contrived corona crisis is a new way of imposing a totalitarian system, a standardised and uniform world governance, under the guise of health provision. We are all being played. The UK and other governments are clearly using threats of various kinds to test out, first on groups of particularly vulnerable workers such as care home staff, just how far they can go with other groups in terms of totalitarian rule. It won’t stop with care workers and it won’t be confined to Covid-19 vaccines. Once governments are able to impose mandatory vaccinations on whole populations, our lives and our bodies will never again be our own.
Will we accept it? You are all next on the list.

So alarming. Most people are completely asleep to all this. I gave up my job in a care home because of all this. My mother is in a care home. Do you know Jeremy if it is going to be law that visitors have to have a double vaccine? Or is it up to individual care homes. Probably comes to the same thing mind you. Is the position the same if I am nominated as essential care giver? Just wondering. Thanks for your blog.

Hi Wendy,
It’s not yet the law but it is strongly encouraged – here is a link to current government guidance: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/visiting-care-homes-during-coronavirus/update-on-policies-for-visiting-arrangements-in-care-homes
Visitors will normally be asked to show that they have had a negative lateral flow test result immediately before they visit. Many homes will provide these, if asked, and you will have to wait up to 30 minutes for the result to show before you are allowed in to the care home.

Wow! My spiritual life is totally compromised because I have voluntarily had 2 jabs. Not because I expect them to protect me from Covid but with the hope that I might be able to visit my family in England without having to quarantine etc. Vax pass needed to get on plane, ferry or train. The alternative might have been a rubber dinghy from Calais.
Similarly I wear a mask when shopping, a ‘single use mask’ that comes out again and again.
The concerning aspect of the whole situation is suppression of debate. However, debates are about ‘I’m right, You’re wrong’ , so of limited use.
Have more people been dying of a recognisable illness? (Covid 19).Have hospitals been overcrowded with Covid-19 patients? Have patients with other conditions been denied treatment because hospitals full? If so WHAT has caused the problem? And what suggestions are there for dealing with it?
As I have mentioned previously , my hobby horse is world population. Could it be that the history of vaccination against various previously deadly diseases , smallpox, polio, diptheria, typhoid, tetanus etc etc. Stopped the natural ‘population control’ of death from disease?
I am just a silly old man. I do not have the answers. However, I do believe that speculative questions can help to move thinking into new paths.
The growing ‘Fascist Tyranny’ is of course disturbing. The general agreement about Covid-19 response among leading medical and scientific groups is interesting. How have they all been coerced, convinced or manipulated to put out the SAME story all around the world? Bolsanaro stood up to the ‘nonsense’ and a lot of people have died with Covid symptoms in Brazil. According to the fascist world domination scenario the fascist world dominaters must have made a special effort to make Brazilians sick unto death.
I try to look at various aspects of situations. But if Boris Johnson turns out to be radio controlled puppet I would not be surprised.

@ Jeremy-My initial reply was made quickly and with little forethought. Perhaps it was a bit unsympathetic and dismissive but not critical of the basis of the well researched and expressed information.
Also the vax/no vax is for you an existential question, as it is for so many who are being threatened with either JAB or JOB. In Italy today and France last week massive resistance to obligatory vaccinations for specific workers.
I have explained my point of view- convenience. I am old, so my life is nearly over. Out of interest I submitted to numerous inconclusive tests last year involving X-rays and Gamma rays. These could find no heart problem nor cancer. At least I could avoid a threatened operation. Even if the investigations have made me a spiritual zombie.
I recognised the Goering quotes from some research I did some 5 years ago when an American Hotel Keeper came to prominence. Starting from : “Having no shame ” and going on to” A lie repeated often enough becomes the Truth” led to Hitler, Goebels and Goering.
What is interesting is that the previous presidency and its controversies may have diverted attention from the real source of tyrrany by actually pointing to it. The World is rather topsy turvy at the moment.
At another level, my heart sinks each time I see a triumphant report of “Another 20 sattelites launched° and remember reading “somewhere ” in RS that by the end of the 20th century a ‘Net would start to be woven round the Earth’ that would insulate from the spiritual influences from the Cosmos.
So back to Covid. Today I hear that my 17 year old grandson is ill and tested positve for Covid-19. He went to a night club last saturday as a birthday treat. For a year he has been studying mainly from home as his school was closed. His contacts were thus limited. The end of Covid restrictions gave ‘Freedom’ to get infected (that is if viruses exist and there is such a thing as infection). This is disappointing for ME because my Vax sacrifice was made so that I could visit them next week. With luck he will be on the mend but by then his 13 year old sister may have been “infected”. The parents are vaccinated but that does not mean that they cannot carry the virus even if they are asymptomatic. ( assuming that viruses exist ). Another grandson from a different family has also been celebrating ‘A’ levels at clubs and discos. So another experimental subject for observation.
With luck my grandson will overcome the infection and emerge stronger both bodily and spiritually. An opportunity that might have been denied had he been vaccinated.
Which could be a good argument against vaccinating children.
On the other hand the vax passports and registrations do indeed provide “the powers that be” with oversight and control of the population. But how much more that Drivers Licences and Passports, let alone how many millions of people voluntarily give up their privacy on the internet, as I am doing now.
At least I am using Linux as revenge on Bill Gates. lol.

‘…by the end of the 20th century a ‘Net would start to be woven round the Earth’ that would insulate from the spiritual influences from the Cosmos. ‘
And the actual metaphor of a ‘spider’s web’ was used also, wasn’t it ?
And machines with a kind of animal inteligence becoming attached to every human being, linking us to it…
Something that I find remarkable, coming from, I think, the 1920s.
We could perhaps explain it away by being a kind of subconscious, premonitory guess arising from wired communication technology of the time…but that doesn’t convince. Or that by some route the prediction influenced the later development of the technology (wasn’t there a discussion here years ago with some contributions from anthroposophists who were directly involved in the development of computer technology in the, I think, 1980s; who spoke about the application of a spiritual understanding of the element silicon?)
But neither, – even if the feed into either RS’s prediction; or of that into the development of technology is correct – accounts for the deep appropriateness of a ‘vision’ of very strange imagery to the omnipresent technology that the whole world is bound up with today, and through which we’re talking here. This technology crept up and over us incrementally during our own lifetimes, until it matched the earlier clairvoyant vision; like pieces a jigsaw whose picture was unintelligible until complete.
I don’t think anything other than a genuine spiritual encounter, which seems to approach its subject – reframing and enlarging our understanding in such an inscrutibly oblique yet piercing manner – explains it.
And use of the technology does seem to cause numerous ‘atrophies’ in people – sensory, imaginative and of the intellect. It eclipses our relationship with outside things (and the inner worlds they mediate), and seems to cause an inversion of the macrocosm/microcosm relationship between us and the outer world; the phantom-images from the technology scale over our eyes and are in turn projected outward, intervening and occluding between us and the world – thus seeming to prove the thing you pointed to about the web of satellites between us and the cosmos.
This is, I think, analogous to what many are feeling about the appropriateness of Steiner’s warnings to the subjects we’re dealing with in this discussion, from Jeremy’s piece.
Even if you strip away the politicisations (that have, for instance, pushed people – in America especially – into partisan-determined responses), the hysterical reactions, and lies that exist across the full spectrum of opinion, something really is occuring.

Hi Jeremy,
An excellent article.
We are all at a critical juncture in the history of humanity.
Pushback and talking one’s truth are what is needed now as well as support for all those brave souls who are facing down the lies and disinformation pushed on us by the controlled MSM as well as our fellow fear-controlled citizens demanding compliance with the mainstream narrative.
I have been labeled a crackpot, tinfoil-hat, foaming-at the-mouth conspiracy nut for the past two decades for talking about just what we are seeing now. None of it comes as a surprise, I just never knew exactly in what form the endgame would play out, but a planted, gain-of-function bioweapon makes perfect sense.
In my personal life I walk a tightrope of staying informed and aware but not getting sucked into despair. Maintaining my focus on the Good, on Christ in the etheric, on archangel Michael and all positive beings in the physical and spiritual worlds is paramount at this time.

Great article and very accurate, . I’ve been following the pharmacutical mafia in the states since 2014 and I must say I never thought this would become their number one issue but it did. Antivaxxers are enemy number one right now across the world. Also, Gates also has his foot on the scale in the climate arena too and has had plans to use this to force into environmental tyranny too. Its the same method, Hegelian dialectic. Same as used in the covid crisis, so too do many of us think there is and a climate crisis. He’s using Harvard, Lawrence Livermore Labs and their covert geoengineering programs led by David Keith and Ken Caldera to make us think there is a crisis and only they can save us. The weather is no longer controlled by mother nature. Man has its hands all over it now.

Hi Jeremy. My question to you is simple. It is not about vaccination passports, tyranny, Bill Gates, Hitler or Goebbels. What do you have against vaccinations for the coronavirus pandemic? It seems to me that such things as v-passports would not be necessary, or even possible, if so many people like you didn’t refuse to be vaccinated, something obviously effective in controlling the pandemic, which all the other, previous, measures were and are not?

Hi Frank,
I think you’re opening yourself up to a great many comments here! My take on these vaccines is that they are still experimental and they will not have completed their trials until 2023 – so until there is more information I do not intend to have them. In the meantime, there are nutritional means to stay free from Covid (unfortunately these methods do not make any money for Big Pharma or Mr Gates, which is why they are being heavily discouraged). They include Zinc, Melatonin, Quercetin, Vitamins B, C and D. Ivermectin is also supposed to be very helpful, though I have no experience of this – various governments who are aware of the effectiveness of Ivermectin are doing their best to make it unavailable, which is totally scandalous. In the meantime, I have 1 PCR test and 2 lateral flow tests every single week to make sure that I am free from Covid.

Understood, Jeremy. However, even if the measures you enumerate are effective, most of the other billions of people on the earth (including myself until now) know nothing of them and are therefore dependent on vaccinations. What about them?

I’m coming to realise, Frank, that we are in the grip of a truly evil conspiracy, perpetrated by a few very powerful people. All those people like you who did what they thought was the right and socially responsible thing have been taken advantage of in a way that I can only describe as wicked. You are not dependent on vaccinations to survive Covid-19 and the deliberate suppression of information contrary to the vaccine message has left you all in a state of limbo. Lord knows what manipulations they can carry out on those who have had the vaccine. An acquaintance and his wife had covid and used liquid Ivermectin on their upper backs. They are in their late 70’s, both survived. I use a 1% cream for a facial skin condition brought on by an allergic reaction. My doctor mentioned that the medicine was expensive and I could go to the local farm supply store, buy Ivermectin and use that in a small dose. SO my point is, it can be used on the largest organ of our body, the skin. Do your own homework on this. I have everything on hand to combat covid should we get it. I do not have Hydroxychloroquine, yet.

@ Rose C. It seems interesting, to say the least, that people are happy to dose themselves with potentially dangerous chemicals of questionable anti viral activity rather than accept a vaccination- which has been ‘survived’ by millions of ‘guinea pigs’ in a world wide experiment.
Is there not a case for simply accepting that you have a low risk of infection and if you DO get infected a 99% chance of survival?

Dig a little deeper you will find some potential problems with Quercetin—consider replacing it with Fisetin—it’s likely better anyway. Also consider turkeytail mushroom powder–harmless at worst.
Not to dive too deeply into this, but in the US Public Health is run by the states, not the Federal government—this comes from you folks in the UK–your county system. In Minnesota, if you walk into a doctor’s office or pharmacy and ask for a Tetanus shot, they will check the state’s database and tell you, no you’re not due for a booster until 2024, for example and they won’t give you one. So your concern for covid “passports” already exists for other vaccines.
FOX news here isn’t under the government’s control, they’re just out of control. Oh by the way thanks for giving us that Via Mr. Murdoch!

Hi Frank. I don’t think there’s been an occasion in the past where every human being was obliged to receive a (largely untested) medication for an illness that is virtually harmless to the majority of the population.
Nor on the planet I live on is the vaccine “obviously effective in controlling the pandemic”. It is however rather good at protecting old and/or vulnerable people from serious illness. Moreover it is very good at protecting health services that over the decades of neo-conservative economic hegemony have been transformed from public services into financialised, efficiency besotted, under-funded, hollowed-out spectres of their former selves.
For such a well-informed Anthroposophist as yourself, it should be clear to you that if modern healthcare had just a smidgeon of the true image of the human being, then the global response to a viral pandemic would certainly not have taken its current form.
There is already ample evidence that those vaccinated early in the national campaigns are losing whatever “benefit” they originally had of artificially produced antibodies against the virus. At this point, facts start to fade and Jeremy’s tyranny begins to shimmer at the edges of one’s vision.
“which all the other, previous, measures were and are not” – Dear Frank, this simply isn’t true. For example, I am not holding Australia up as some kind of paragon, but it had (and still has) very few cases and deaths. It has also vaccinated a tiny %age of its population.

Frank, there are many points that could be made but I will limit myself to a more philosophical reply.
Here is a simple statistic I heard recently: During his time in office, Obama authorised more targetted killings than were carried out during the entire Inquisition.
The exact figures are not the point. What matters is that such a person is still loved and revered across the world.
People in power – what they say, how they say it – no longer matters. Who is the being that is speaking through them – that alone matters. The ability to discern the Being is partly what the Mystery of Evil demands of us. The trial which humanity is going through will all be for nothing, if our intuition fails us.
All this has led to a bewitchment of humanity. This would explain the cognitive dissonance that allowed us to be taught in school that “history is written by the victors” and yet go on to take that very history as the truth.
It has all caught up with us Frank – and yes – you represent orthodoxy – but that also no longer matters.
A spell has been cast and the majority you are part of, seem unable to see the clear signs of a total capture of the planet, long planned and executed with ruthless cunning.

The plans for the covid vaccine passports (which are intended to be replaced with biometric id) pre-date the vaccine.
The government here in Ireland set up a group (‘Health Pass Ireland’) last April which put out promotional videos showing how the cocid-tracker app would develop into a vaccine passport.
And the EU have had plans for this since at least 2019 (linked at the end of the comments on one of Jeremy’s recent pieces on this issue).
The vaccine isnt a one-off either, this has already been declared to be an ongoing and possibly permanent regime of vaccination and bio-electronic monitoring and control via the ‘pass’. First booster shots from later this autumn.
Do you believe children should be vaccinated ?

If Bill Gates has anything to do with this global coercion, all it takes is a short walk through the history of his operating system (MS-DOS and later Windows) to realise that a national digital database of humans and their vaccination statuses is going to be crashing so often (“Blue Needle of Death” anyone?) that it will soon prove unworkable.
The internet works because it was originally developed (in the 70’s and 80’s) by generous individuals who wanted to communicate freely with each other. The kind of people who would work towards developing a “digital prison” for the rest of the world, are likely to be opposed by significant numbers of the descendants of those generous individuals, think of “Robin Hood hackers”.
Microsoft’s closed operating systems were always being hacked. Unix/Linux, the family of public open-source operating systems, were very rarely treated that way. Partly because they were open, they were more secure; counter-intuitive, but true.
There are already numerous “black market” solutions to your problem. Fake NHS apps (eg “Hack and Trace”) provide convincing enough evidence to get past the average stressed out nightclub door guard. These apps will soon improve.
Societies usually run on consensus. Soon they won’t. I am (or was) something of a law-abiding rule-follower. But if the rules become absurd, then they should be broken. Look at all past totalitarian states; they literally invited their own destruction. Quote from a Polish car factory worker during the Communist era: “We pretend to work, and they pretend to pay us.”
I trust the young, they know it’s a fraud, even if, for one reason or another, they have to get jabbed. For me, the exciting part of all this proposed tyranny is the endless opportunity it provides to subvert it.
The so-called “normal” that was left behind in March 2020 is not something to be called back into existence. It is not wanted. For decades we were already wondering how on earth we could get out of the mess – social, economic, environmental, and most importantly the spiritual vacuum that underpinned it. Of course the “regressive” forces will try to act against the free human spirit. Like the scorpion and its sting, that’s what it has to do.
I’m sorry about the threat to your job, Jeremy. Stay strong. We live in interesting times.

May I add that it is becoming increasingly clear that the vaccination roll out does NOT create the results we were told that it would. Protection rates are falling, the rates of infection among the vaccinated are rising and what we are not told: the number of deaths and adverse effects of these vaccinations are way beyond what should be acceptable. This number far exceeds the TOTAL of deaths and adverse effects of the last 20 years as a whole!!
MSM won’t report on it.
There is no proper scientific rationale for these jabs anymore, but as Jerome and others will agree, for mr Global there is an aim to be reached and these jabs are a means to “his” end. The “passports” and as you write, the “boosters-to-come” play an important role. (Exercise: try to imagine what boosters may be designed to bring about)
It is just flabbergasting to realise how many people, MSM, universities, scientists, medical doctors (incl. your GP) are dependent on their jobs and income by following the required narrative. My GP flatly refuses to prescribe the “Ivermectin Protocol “, while knowing its efficacy.

But let me jump to this engaging exchange of ideas now. The one quality I learned from is his enormous resilience. And I feel that is also what we have to concentrate on now. If we feel that our present Goetheanum is burning down or risks to be arsoned by demonic forces while it is too late to prevent it, let’s not put our energy in “who did it” or get obsessed by fear and our own narrations giving personhood to these demons. Rather let us take the situation as it is or as we see it (and have different perceptions about) with equinamity and step up the work to co-design all together and actually build a new Goetheanum by united forces. It may even come out better than the first effort.

Dear Jeremy, sorry if I speak to you confidentially, but we are both anthroposophists and therefore I feel you spiritually close. As usual your articles are a piece of skill, but (and sorry if I tell you) you too sometimes give the impression of falling from the clouds. When you speak of the collapse of climate systems, of massive migratory waves without making any attributions, when you mention Hitler as an emblem of all evil, you are simply repeating what a thousand others have said before you while remaining trapped in the usual clichés. Climate manipulation has been going on for fifty years now. You too will have looked a thousand times at a sky made of fake clouds without ever asking yourself why and you will have looked away from the chemtrails (conspiracy theorists, you will be told), and that’s what everyone does, even you know that it is quite possible to heat the ionosphere at will and easily get any type of climate disaster, you too know the Calergi plan for ethnic crossbreeding that has been on the agenda for over half a century, you too know who created the conditions for both world wars, but you continue to He points to Hitler as the bogeyman of all evil, knowing full well how the Anglo-Saxon secret societies and Wall Street are actually the real architects of all this. The discourse could continue with gender theories, with Darwinism, but you know that everything leads in only one direction. You may be wondering where I am going, well, I repeat it again and I will repeat it ad nauseam: Arhiman’s only weapon is the lie, and if we want to neutralize the lie we must speak the truth out loud. The truth is: the viral theory on which all this diabolical plan is based is a lie from which we must come out at all costs. Evil cannot be fought by accepting its premises and sharing them in whole or in part. The lie must first of all be recognized for what it is and subsequently it must be rejected as a whole without ifs and buts. Not doing it is the fatal mistake that will make sure that everything you have meticulously described happens in a short time.

Our topic is “Free Fall to Tyranny”. We are focusing on the machinations of our perceived tyrants, but ignore/deny both the workings of, and the location of the most central tyrant: our own Ahrimanic Double. We air our convictions and differences on who and what and where we think the Tyrants are, but we then we stop. This frustrates me. Aren’t we ignoring the critical factors? Any 5-year old can point to the closet where he thinks the monster is hiding, but is too young to ask himself what the monster really is and where it’s really located. The “where” is inside me and inside you. We seem oblivious to this. WHY do I feel in free fall? What is this tyrant and what is the real agenda here? Steiner speaks to this in a thousand lectures. He speaks to how to move through the stages of initiation, how to identify and tame/”redeem” the Double. He speaks of how critical it is to transform our Double. My Double does not reside in any of the persons or efforts targeted in these posts as the “problem”. My Double is the frightened instinct I have for materialistic self-preservation in face of the fact there is no such thing – a hopeless that makes me prey to any tyrant.

It is certainly good to be aware of the shadows that exist within ourselves, especially as it is through these that outside influences get a hold of and can control us. But it is dangerous to ignore the objective events and things that happen in the real world and retreat into subjective interiors.
We need to distinguish what is real and genuine from what is false in both spheres. The interior world can turn into a fantasy of fears and euphorias, and the outside world into self-aggrandisements or conspiratorial paranoia.
Most people will tend towards one or the other.
I think the inner world is greater than and is the foundation of the outer, but we must remember that the things and events in the outside world also have an inner spiritual underpinning to them, so they cannot be ignored.
We need to use our inner struggles with the things you describe to strengthen us to meet with and deal with what is happening at the moment, otherwise all engagements with and attempts to transform with our inner aspects can easily turn to a pseudospiritual game of hiding our heads in the sand.

You do raise an important point. Anyone who has researched and is versed in the world of conspiracy theories (I dislike the term but will use it anyway) – ought to have come to the realisation that it can very easily lead to one-sided-ness. Many are left simply railing at the world.
As you point out, all too often people do not look for the evil inside themselves. If the confrontation with evil is an “evolutionary promise” – then we must use this oportunity to mirror back the extent of our own Ahriman possession. Those who do not do so, will self-destruct in their own sense of indignation.
However, there is also the risk of unbalance in a quest for inner truth, where external evil is downplayed or may even go unrecognised. This possibility brings its own perils where one might conceivably start to play a role in the outer evils. In this way the Ahrimanic incarnation itself may go wholly unperceived.

Thank you for this powerful piece, Jeremy, which describes the situation very well.
You appear to have a supporter in Steve Baker, a prominent Conservative Member of the UK Parliament (for those unaware, the Conservatives are the governing party in the UK Parliament). In this recent 11 minute clip, he speaks to the interviewer about vaccine passports, confusion, incompetence, and, from around 5m45s, about state control, social credit and the descent into tyranny (he uses the word “tyranny”):
Mr Baker was one of 31 Conservative MPs who rebelled against the party whip, voting against the proposed Care Home mandatory medical intervention legislation on the 13th July. This event made abundantly clear the contempt with which the UK Government treats Parliament, and therefore the UK public. A subject of such great import was rushed through in an obscenely short 90 minute debate, with no impact assessment made available in advance for MPs to scrutinize, despite Government assurances that one would, in accordance with normal convention, be prepared beforehand.
Those in favour of the introduction of mandatory intervention totalled 319, with 246 against. There are 650 seats in the House of Commons. Of those other MPs who were eligible to vote, but chose not to (around 80), most were from the nationalist parties of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. One wonders what the outcome might have been had they chosen to register their vote in accordance with their individual conscience, rather than choosing not to vote out of allegiance to the party line.
Which leads to the fundamental question – ‘Does an individual human being have autonomy over their own body?’
The following thoughts draw in part on comments by Doctor Tom Cowan.
The intention here is not to re-open discussion on the ‘vaccines’, but to focus on the question of human freedom. He asks the highly relevant question: “Who decides which proteins are created within our human organism?”
Materialistic science tells us that the mRNA gene therapies work using the principle of the central dogma of molecular biology (leaving aside the known deviations) of DNA makes RNA which makes proteins. Simply put, synthetically created RNA, which contains an ‘instruction’ or ‘code’ wrapped up in lipid nanoparticles, enters the cytoplasm of a cell where, once free, the mRNA ‘message’ is translated by the ribosomes to make proteins – in the case of the current therapies, the spike proteins, which then break down into tiny pieces. This is the theory.
And therein lies a profound concern. Proteins make up the structural components of our cells and tissues. In the interaction with light, sound, warmth, air – and much else coming from the Earth’s environment and the cosmos, a human individuality, through the medium of DNA and RNA, expresses itself in the proteins it creates within its own organism. During the course of aeons, proteins have evolved through entirely natural processes corresponding to the changing needs of the human organism. With mRNA technology, what has hitherto been a natural process becomes a technological or mechanical process which uses synthetic materials and processes that do not naturally occur within the human body. Effectively, the technology facilitates the ‘taking over’ of the naturally occurring processes, replacing them with artificial, mechanistic ones.
The following helps to make this clear:
From Doctor Cowan’s website: Quote from Pfizer on their mRNA ‘vaccine’: “The DNA template used does not come directly from an isolated virus from an infected person.” “The DNA template (SARS-Cov2, Gen Bank: MN9089473) was generated via a combination of gene synthesis and recombinant DNA technology.”
A little research reveals that there are a great many more gene therapies in development, to be placed at the disposal of those who seek to influence the human organism through this type of mechanistic intervention.
Looking at protein production from an anthroposophical perspective, Doctor Frank Meyer describes the following:
“As a constituent element in the sense of anthroposophical medicine, mRNA and ribosome activity is based above all on the controlling function of the so-called “I – organization”, with whose help the organism, on the basis of its inherited characteristics on the one hand, and from environmental conditions on the other hand, emancipates itself by forming an individual protein pattern.”
Briefly put, a human individuality expresses itself in the production of proteins. The DNA is the ‘bearer’ of this individual expression, not the source. The RNA is the ‘mediator’ between the DNA and the proteins. From being a process originally under the direction of the Hierarchies, we have moved to the current situation where an individual ego-bearing human being now participates, at least to some extent, in the role of producer of their own proteins, and can adapt them through natural processes to meet the requirements of their own organism.
So again, the key question: ‘Who decides which proteins are created within the human organism’? A pharmaceutical company? GAVI? The state? A combination of all three? Someone else? Or an individual human being?
Doctor Cowan expresses the view: “The one who has control over the proteins has control over the organism”. Although a powerful ether body may overcome even the strongest attack, one can understand the point he is making, which is more from a human freedom and dignity standpoint, than from a purely medical one.
One can assume from Rudolf Steiner’s indications that future attacks on the human organism via ‘medical intervention’ will not be limited to the synthetic creation of proteins. The ‘instructions’ contained in future interventions will no doubt seek to weaken or severely disrupt the relationship between physical and etheric, setting human beings on a path which leads away from the Cosmos towards the sub-Earthly. One need only research CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations), or the Tübingen-based company CureVac to understand the intended direction of travel, which has everything to do with the transhumanist agenda, and nothing to do with natural medicine or the healthy merging of human energy and machine energy as described by Rudolf Steiner.

Your account is food for thought but as you say in next note you are an amateur in organic compounds. So am I of course because I left University in the dark ages of the 1960s. Getting clarity on an Anthroposophical view of biochemistry and immunology is aided by the thoughtful studies of those who are up to date on the science AND deeply into anthroposophy.
In the case of RNA ‘medications’ there may be a possibllity of modifying more than the target process. Recently an Indian vaccine using DNA has been introduced. The challenge is to get the DNA into the nucleus of cells so that it becomes part of the genome. That is a scary step beyond RNA vaccine.
But the jump to the control of protein synthesis by the “I” of a human is Olympic Gold. Because protein synthesis occurs in jelly fish and tadpoles where there does not SEEM to be an “I” or “ego”.
As I said, Food for Thought.
The Transhuman question is certainly a concern. Particularly because it is promoted as a good and desirable development. Many children like robots and that is not new. The current Paralympics demonstrates how mechanical prothesis can HELP an individual to achieve what his physical body alone cannot. The Six Million Dollar Man and Robocop films made transhumans into heros. Was Douglas Bader flying his Spitfire with 2 artificial legs a Transhuman?
There must to be some criteria for drawing the line at which point “assistative technology” becomes dehumanising.
What about Stephen Hawking controlling his wheelchair and computer using the single face muscle he could still control? Man or machine?
Direct ‘thought control’ prosthetics are now available and will become more sophisticated.
Where is the border, where is the line?

Thank you for your comments, Jaromer.
As you say, it’s a great help when a scientist can speak out of anthroposophical insights. However, it’s important that ‘science’ is not just left to the ‘scientists’ to determine what is real and true, with everyone else meekly accepting scientific outcomes (medicine included), without thought or challenge. Everyone has a capacity for critical or analytical thinking and can independently investigate and assess, even if it only serves to facilitate a basic understanding of what the trained scientists are advancing. In fact, one might say that anthroposophical study can be enhanced if it supplements a reasonable understanding of the natural sciences or relevant discipline.
On protein synthesis, this appears to work in a similar way to the influence the ‘I – organization’ has in respect of its ability to alter the genes, as has been known to science in recent times through the field of study called epigenetics. Rudolf Steiner had already spoken about this 100 years ago. Whatever participation we have as ego-beings in these processes (in addition to the activity of the Hierarchies) is, of course, something we do not control at a conscious level. However, we can experience the outcome of this participation, for example, in our health and sense of well-being.
In respect of the animal kingdom (including fish), we would need to speak of a group-ego (Mother Soul) aligned with Hierarchical beings directing protein synthesis from the astral realm.
On ‘vaccines’, it’s clear that we have already travelled some distance along the path of mechanized medication. Within the pharmaceutical companies, the focus is now on gene synthesis and recombinant DNA/RNA technology – i.e. genetic engineering, with no need for purified isolates, viral or otherwise.
To quote Dr Frank Meyer again:
“Normally, the mRNA mediates between the genetic code and protein synthesis (i.e. between the information pole of the nucleus and the metabolic pole in the cytoplasm). Vaccinations intervene in these highly complex processes and artificial mRNA causes the cells to produce something that they would not normally produce: i.e. typical structures of a pathogen.”
Accepting that a human ego expresses itself through the process described by Dr Meyer (see my previous comment), it is evident that the introduction of synthetic DNA/RNA ‘instructions’ into the body disrupts the normal spiritual process. This is an attempt at genetic engineering, which the human ego and life forces must then try to overcome.
On transhumanism, I feel we are now far beyond the point where the introduction of ethical standards to define a ‘boundary not to be crossed’ would be possible or enforceable. Would those with a vested interest in introducing ever more sophisticated technology to ‘medicate’ or ‘improve’ human beings give more than a passing glance to moral or ethical considerations? The ‘we can…….but should we?’ question seems to have no place in our modern age.
Attempts to mechanize human beings are evident in the world. They can be clearly observed. On the subject of the future merging of human nature and machine nature, I believe there exist differing opinions within the anthroposophical community. I have found nothing in Rudolf Steiner’s work that indicates that human beings will merge with machines in a physical sense. That’s to say, human beings do not become part-human/part-machine (i.e. mechanized beings) on their rightful evolutionary path. Rather, the future relationship, which is already in its early stages, happens on an elemental level. One can then understand that transhumanism is about calculated ‘species change’, a change that, from an anthroposophical perspective, would disrupt the relationship between human beings and the spiritual Hierarchies, possibly to the point where a rightful evolution would be shut off.
Perhaps one can distinguish between assistive technology and transhumanism in the following way. Assistive technology, where it is used to help a human being function in life, cannot really be regarded as species change. But, there may be resulting soul/spiritual or health effects to deal with. For example, I have heard of an instance where someone had a metal plate attached to their skull which led to undesired clairvoyant experiences. There are many such anecdotes. One can add to this assistive technology context the complex matter of individual karma.
However, where a human being introduces technology into their organism to ‘enhance’ their body’s abilities beyond what has been given to them by normal human evolution (from Old Saturn onwards), or by their karma, that is transhumanism, and there is a corresponding consequence in their interrelationship with the spiritual Hierarchies and with the sub-natural realms. That, to me, represents the perilous ‘creepy line’ as one is then responding to Ahriman’s call to humanity to dispense with past human evolution and begin a new evolution from ‘year zero’ on a mechanized Earth peopled by mechanized beings. In other words, a descent into the abyss.
Rudolf Steiner: “Sub-nature must be recognized for what it is. This is only possible if humanity will rise at least as high in spiritual perception to super-sensible super-nature as it has technologically descended into sub-nature…. Electricity …must be recognized for its power to lead from nature to sub-nature. But humans must beware of joining in the descent.”
Steiner commented that, due to the influence of technology, human beings would need to expend much more spiritual energy in future in order to remain human. He also described the steps we can take to gain such spiritual strength and bring about a more human future:
“…in the age of Technical Science hitherto, the possibility of finding a true relationship to the Ahrimanic civilization has escaped man. He must find the strength, the inner force of knowledge, in order not to be overcome by Ahriman in this technical civilization. He must understand sub-nature for what it really is. This he can only do if he rises, in spiritual knowledge, at least as far into extra-earthly super-nature as he has descended, in Technical Sciences, into sub-nature.”

I share similar concerns about the direction in which we are headed, and I’m wary of the reigning vaccinophilia and technophilia. That being said, at least one of the sources linked to in the article appears to be problematic. The link for the article about the coronavirus patent filing is the following:

That article says that its source is the following:

That article, in turn, says that its source is the following:
https://patriots4truth.org/2020/01/28/corona-virus-is-a-globalist-bioweapon/
Interestingly, patriots4truth.org is a conspiracy-oriented website with links to well-known anthroposophists Douglas Gabriel and John Barnwell. Anyway, that article links to the following PDF file, which appears to be a genuine patent filing:

However, I do not see anything to suggest that the patent filing is problematic. Actually, there were stories on social media already last year suggesting that this same patent filing was for a covid vaccine years before covid. Although ‘fact-checking’ websites certainly shouldn’t be relied on without doing one’s one digging, it’s worth looking at the Reuters fact-check article from last August (2020) about the patent filing:

So, I remain confused about what Jeremy is implying about the patent filing.

Welcome to the blog, Lucas! I didn’t say that the Pirbright Institute had a patent on a Covid-19 vaccine. The patent filing, which I agree with you seems to be genuine, is about a patent on ‘coronavirus’. The Reuters fact check is setting up a straw man here, as no-one I’m aware of has suggested that Pirbright have a patent on a coronavirus vaccine. I’m afraid I’ve become increasingly sceptical of these fact-checking websites and would like to know how they are funded and by whom. What interests me is that Bill Gates says he has invested $10 billion dollars in vaccines over the past two decades and expects to get a 20-fold return on his money – see The Vaccine Race, Explained. http://www.gatesnotes.com April 30, 2020. So although he likes to present himself as a benefactor, he actually is intent on making himself even richer. Could this explain his interest in coronavirus and what increasingly appears to be a virus that has been manipulated in a laboratory?

In particular the research of Dutch virologist Ron Foucier in the Erasmus University in Rotterdam was chilling. Not to mention the close connections with bio-warfare … This dangerous research is linked to funding from all kind of dubious directions, and trade in information. However, as we know all this allready more than 1,5 years now, thanks to Jeremy’s foresight, I think we rather should focus now on finding solutions. What can we do together, even if we disagree on many issues. What unites us towards a constructive response? What is our specific strength to counter the trend. Identifying the reincarnated Ahriman in person?

By the way suddenly an opportunity was opened for foreigners to get a government Astra-Zeneca jab. My family here in Thailand ushered me to a huge railway station where thousands of people queed eager to get their injection. We succeeded in getting one for me and that will save me from the Moderna jab planned for me in October … So my I will be reformed British style rather than a new American ego to combat …

I think it’s pretty obvious the left hand path are running things currently and they’re very clever in how they operate for eg the social engineering they engage in always seems to be in line with human evolution .
Western govt’s are becoming increasingly Marxist and right’s have been under a steady attack for a while now . Theresa May’s 2016 snoopers charter that removed the right to privacy was a huge set back .
Looking ahead at societal implications of the c virus , one aspect is it’s ignited a technological race in automation , robotics ( service industries), AI , tracing software , remote offices , etc all geared towards less and less human interaction which is very anti-human and Ahrimanic .

Hans, here in the US, there have been many conservative news talks on the ‘Gain of Function’ Research. One of our conservative senators, Ron Paul a doctor, has reamed Fauci in senate hearings about this issue. So it is true, there has been funding and it is in the open here in US.

Thanks, Rose Croix. Yes, also in Europe, like in the Rotterdam Lab which is part of a huge network, this research is done openly and receives big public funding. So, instead of stopping trade in wildlife, stopping destruction of fauna habitat and putting a halt to industrial meat production, we invest in gain of function research in order to react better to the calamities of our own creation. We accept the risk of escape of the manipulated viruses, and multiply financial over-power in massive vaccination which only adresses temporarily the symptoms and creates a new trans-human animal-pharmaceutical-social control technology-human-being complexity beyond spiritual control (lest …). Should we define the frontline battle as one between an individual citizen against the state (with cosiderable risk of self-damage more serious than taking the jab and overcoming it) or should we focus on the bigger picture and reclaim trusteeship over the Earth? Or how to combine both strategic positions?

This looks too simple, and easy to overturn, but perhaps these type of approaches might provide an avenue of assistance for those who are finding themselves pressured by their employment situation into taking the vaccine, eg religious or ethical objections under protected characteristics (though the Pope apparently has endorsed those produced using the cloned cells from terminations, shameful if true 😕)

Steiner mentions we will have more energy if we were vegan. That he would not have been able to keep the pace that was needed should had he been consuming meat. I am not vegan, but thought I would add this info since it pertains to our times, from On Epidemics, Spiritual Perspective.

Same here (tho’ have never had the biodynamically produced kind).
But I think the matter covers religious and philosophical beliefs in quite a wide-ranging manner (https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/law-and-courts/discrimination/protected-characteristics/religion-or-belief-discrimination/ )
My own objections to the vaccine include:
• I don’t need it, and have seen no consistent positing of or convincing proof that an unvaccinated person creates a greater risk of transmission than a vaccinated
• Certain of the vaccines were developed using foetal cell lines. There remain serious questions about the origin of these and the quantity of lives used for their production – it was initially alleged that they were not from terminations but from miscarriages, but this is highly unlikely. I accept that there are situations where a woman’s recourse to termination should be respected, but to me it will always be a tragic end to a human life that should not be used to create biopharmaceutic products. The human life is sacred and according to my deepest beliefs should not be used in this manner. Others can argue that medicines thus produced may be of benefit, but I will never knowingly take them.
• The human body is more than evolutionary happenstance but is the result and expression of a deep, unfathomable wisdom. While I recognise many of the great achievements of medicine, all – even those which operate in inner accord with the human organism – are clumsy by comparison. Vaccines or therapies which seek to substantially alter the normal operations of the human organism undermine our bodies – which I believe to be the physical expression of the Divine – are effectively like a kind of blasphemic utterance, and are based on a false understanding of the human being which I reject
• I believe in the sovereign freedom of the human individual with respect to his or her own person, and their right to accept or refuse these types of treatment and to freely live with all the rights guaranteed us without duress or exception with respect to this freedom.
How far any of this will be respected when so much has been trampled on, I don’t know. But if these governments are going to try to proceed with this I don’t think we should allow them the privilege of disguising what it is they are doing.

Dear Jeremy, a wonderful article, hugely informative and from it we can clearly see the preparation for Ahriman’s incarnation is now blatantly real and in our faces. If you ask the majority of people if they know who Ahriman is, they will reply, no. How indeed to unmask Ahriman? How to get people to understand who he is, what he is, how he operates and what are the repercussions of his destructive influence? I think this is key if people are to be fully conscious and capable of fighting the battle with him that is needed. They need to know of Christ’s true power (4th stage Macrocosmic) and Lucifer (7th stage microcosmic) Until people have the facts of spiritual reality then deception and coercion by the ruling earthly powers is far too easy to win people over. I believe a lot more people are capable of grasping these spiritual truths but how to get the facts out there? Computer games featuring the conquest of Ahriman by enlightened humans together with the collaboration of Higher beings? Or blockbuster movies with all the special effects illuminating the spiritual power of Michael and Christ, battling it out against the backward spiritual forces and coperating with us to save the evolution of mankind… a new version of Star Wars is imminent….Thank you Jeremy for all your efforts in enlightening us and providing a place where we can ‘meet’ and share thoughts and read valuable insights. Warmhearted blessings to you.

Thank you, Judith. You may be right that films and computer games would be effective in reaching many more people than anthroposophists seem capable of doing. Part of our problem may be that many anthroposophists seem to be embarrassed to talk about Ahriman or even Christ, in case others think they are loonies or cult members. The times are so dire that anthroposophists need to be much more courageous and stop worrying about what other people think of them.

Moonsphere and Luke, thank you for your responses to my post. When in my best frame of mind, I work hard to do what I understand of Steiner’s teaching: to become indifferent to what my finite mind conceptualizes as oppositions – to recognize that black and white, or “good” and “bad” are both necessary components of our earth experience and we are neither to fear nor seek hope in one side of the other. To me this means that to be guided by either our sympathies or antipathies will lead us astray. I’m not suggesting that we should look to the “evil” inside us simply to reject it, or have some place to fix blame – but to recognize its critical role in what we are here to accomplish.
I have come to understand the Ahrimanic Double as that part of the divine order whose function is to protect and preserve the physical body/self. I see my purpose is not to deny, reject, fear or get rid of it, but to keep it in its place – largely by developing the capacity to know I am not a physical being, rather I am a spiritual being in a physical body. It is by developing myself through the stages of initiation that I may “redeem” my Double – which is transformed into my Lesser Guardian.
It is with this mindset, I view the trials in my life – including the advent of contemporary pandemics (beginning with HIV), the anxiety over vaccines, manipulations by the powerful, the ongoing death of thousands of species of life, and the advent of world-wide weather disasters. I don’t doubt that the evils in our world have been orchestrated by players inspired by their un-redeemed Ahrimanic Doubles. And I don’t doubt the proliferation of survivalist groups, gun violence and threats of anarchy in my rural part of the world – where less than 21% of the population have been vaccinated and those who wear masks (myself included) are accused of being members of ANTIFA. I’d like to share with you my favorite local conspiracy theory: COVID was invented to make us stay inside so we don’t see them changing the batteries in what looks like birds, but are really drones spying on us. They don’t even know to say “chips” – that’s how sad it is.

Some of what you wrote served as a good reminder to me to keep my own tendency to hold the ‘outer’ as suspect in check, and to watch my own prejudicial doubts, etc.
In binaries – political, ideological and so on – we’re constantly being pushed into accepting things which we otherwise would not because they are ‘policies’ of the side we most tend towards. And perhaps missing or rejecting things we should heed because they have been tainted with negative things these in turn are adjacent to.
It’s often a case of ‘out of the frying pan, into the fire’, and one of the most difficult things for everyone, I think, is the implications and weight of what comes from realising that large numbers of people in positions of trust and power can have malign intentions.

Hi Jeremy,
I could write a long response to your article, because the article is so founded on logic and rational thought and perception that I could go on for pages. But I do not have time right now to achieve that, nor would it necessarily help. What I ask of Frank Thomas Smith, someone I’ve been in contact with via blogs from before there was a Facebook and all we had were email lists, is what was his position on the origin of the virus when it was first reported as an outbreak in Wuhan China? I wrote an article about Hegel in the spring of 2020 during the outbreak, so my position was recorded. In this article I pointed out that the highest probability of the source of the virus was the lab, and that has since been proven true. Even the NYTimes had to admit to covering up this as the highest probable source of the virus since then. I also explained that regardless of the lab, the idea of the lab (its purpose), is what Fauci and others in the West support. We supported and continue to support “gain of function” research! This is not conspiracy as it is not denied, it is openly stated. And the movement is massive in the USA to increase funding for gain of function research.
I raise this because what I’ve found over the last 1.5 years is that very few Anthroposophists have discussed the important concepts around this outbreak. Some talk about global warming affecting animals, and that “causes” the animals to transmit disease, but they do this with no data or science at all, including spiritual science. Yet when there is very good factual information readily available, they are not scientific enough to put the basic pieces together. If we understand the funding for gain-of-function we also understand why the pandemic occurred. Given why it occurred, we then need to look at why we are not scientific enough to predict the response?
Governments from a moral perspective should never be in control of the bodies of their citizens. That principle is so clear that the points Frank makes are not ones to be concerned with. Those points have no foundation. We can each have our individual moral perspective on what we should do with our own bodies. And I do not take away from Frank his personal view that everyone should take the vaccine. He is entitled to such an incorrect view. But why should the government, the one that supports gain-of-function research that caused the pandemic, be in control of my decisions over my body?
Regardless of what the government has done, but even especially because they have no wisdom around health care, they have no rights over such individual spiritual decisions. Steiner wrote explicitly and directly this same message. If Frank and others have a different message please explain what is wrong with what I state above, and also answer Steiner because he agreed with this same position (and even predicted this health-care dictatorship). The fact that Anthroposophists are debating this is the greatest tragedy of all. The principles are so clear cut it is amazing the reaction of so many in our circles.

We know truth/Christianity evolves and new messengers will arrive to speak to humanity. However after only a hundred years or so I still consider Steiner to be the most knowledgeable about the human condition. Either his hard work, lectures and books are taken to be truth or not. At this point in time his solid investigations should not be sliced and diced according to our lower egos. It only fractures the society which he gave his energy and life to hold together.

It surely is a tragedy, Daniel. It seems that some Anthroposophists don’t want others to even participate in discussion, or add to the table. You would think we would band together for the greater good, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I don’t see how that is even a good thing.

Daniel, I’d like to point out that though the likelihood of Covid’s connection with the lab in Wuhan is high, it does not settle the issue of whether it was created there – or escaped from there. Also, there is “data” to support the increased movement of a number of diseases from the animal kingdom: humans dead of HIV/AIDS, Ebola, Zika, Swine flu, Avian flu, Sars…
Rose, while it is frustrating to “discuss” a variety of topics with other anthroposophists, I am not surprised we differ greatly in our threads – as well as our personal “conclusions”. What is more frustrating to me is we seldom talk of our personal efforts/struggles to move along the path of initiation. We persist in speculating and trying to reach conclusions about “out there” – abstractly – and don’t seem conscious of what we’re doing. And I don’t exclude myself from this behavior – I have to reign myself in all the time and have often failed.
In part, I think one of the reasons we are so frustrated is we’ve not learned/accepted how important it is to recognize ourselves standing at the fulcrum – with Christ – to balance the necessary influences of Lucifer and Ahriman. We’ve failed to manage our Ahrimanic Double. We have feared and fought opening our spiritual eyes and ears – resisted the efforts to move through the stages of initiation. Now, in this age – since the late 1800’s – we’ve passed the point of no return. Kyle, you said you would think we would know better and “band together for the greater good”. Yet here we are, in this 5th Post-Atlantian epoch – and we still don’t know who and what we really are. We’ve hit bottom, and like a bucket full of frightened crabs, we keep pulling each other down as we try to climb out.

There surely is something about how we relate with external events, and how we respond to it – inwardly speaking. You do stress the importance of looking within, finding that double. Hopefully we all can – definitely myself – take the time to look within. I am learning quite a bit from everyone here, and truly thankful for that.

She gasped and said “Oh I do not look at the moon and the Luciferic beings.” My answer was Jehovah resides there also. Silence. She was a very knowledgeable Anthroposophist. I suppose very few can absorb all of the vast knowledge that has lovingly been given to us. So as we move forward in the struggle, we each can recall and remind and help and assure others even on a blog where long distances keep us apart only in body, but not in soul.

Hi Kathy,
Evidence that relatively minor disease moves from animal to human is not evidence that a major pandemic has been from this source. However, Fauci and others openly state their intentions. They state that they wish to help move diseases from the animal kingdom to the human kingdom. This is the purpose of the Wuhan lab and other labs around the world. This is gain-of-function research. The reasoning given is that we can in a controlled way then develop vaccines and other therapies to counteract what we have thus created. The problem with this idea is that there is complete materialism at work at its source. By giving life to disease we have created a spiritual deed. We have helped the incarnation of beings of hindrance. Then, we help our friends get rich off of the vaccines needed to cure humanity. And humanity turns over self-direction and independence in order to be protected by the government. It is quite ingenious really. I do want to be clear however, that I have great concern for the animal kingdom and the terrible acts of research / torture done to them. This is not without its effects as well, and future karma.

In view of the “us and them” attitude that has crept into some of the posts on this topic I thought people might like to see what Rudolf Steiner advocates about entering into the views of others. I find it difficult but a good exercise !
“Instead of taking an interest merely in my own way of thinking, and in what I consider right, I must develop a selfless interest in every opinion I encounter, however strongly I may hold it to be mistaken. The more a man prides himself on his own dogmatic opinions and is interested only in them, the further he removes himself, at this moment of world-evolution, from the Christ. The more he develops a social interest in the opinions of other men, even though he considers them erroneous – the more light he receives into his own thinking from the opinions of others – the more he does to fulfil in his inmost soul a saying of Christ, which today must be interpreted in the sense of the new Christ-language. Christ said: “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me”. The Christ never ceases to reveal Himself anew to men even unto the end of earthly time. And thus He speaks today to those willing to listen: “In whatever the least of your brethren thinks, you must recognize that I am thinking in him; and that I enter into your feeling, whenever you bring another’s thought into relation with your own, and whenever you feel a fraternal interest for what is passing in another’s soul. Whatever opinion, whatever outlook on life, you discover in the least of your brethren, therein you are seeking Myself”. So does the Christ speak to our life of thought – the Christ who desires to reveal Himself in a new way-the time for it is drawing near-to the men of the twentieth century…This is the way which today must be characterized as the way to the Christ through thinking.”

These are good points you make, MR – but it’s not just a question for me of developing a selfless interest in other’s opinions, especially when the people with these other opinions are seeking to take away my job, fill my body with an experimental vaccine, remove my freedom to travel and ultimately seeking to prevent me leading a normal life through mandatory vaccine passports. They are using the state’s monopoly on violence to impose their opinions forcibly on me. This does not speak to me of Christ but of another being altogether.

There is a major difference between what it means to be open to others and accepting despotic acts against citizens. Being open to others is a state of inner balance and being, not dogmatism. You may extend your inner soul life into the experience of another, with their perspectives and pain. This is the path of initiation. But to confuse this openness with putting aside rational thought and accepting evil acts is altogether a mixing of goodwill with ignorance. It is prevalent in our circles because returning to a perception of spiritual beings takes transformation of our egotism so that the spiritual may arise. But as the spiritual arises, so do many types of beings, good and bad! To discern these beings is part of the entry into higher worlds.
I hope that Jeremy will allow the following text to be posted. It is Steiner’s (un-dogmatic) view of health and government. It is a bit long, but well worth the read! It is also so much common sense that it is tragic that we debate ideals that are asking to be taken hold of and cared for. Steiner’s view is clearly aligned against the government involvement in health care. For one, authority dictating health choices is against Threefolding. Second, authority must not be the basis of spiritual life, as health care is necessarily part of the spiritual life. Third, the “layman” as Steiner describes it, must be an equal to the medical experts. We have fallen into the mistaken idea that big pharma is “science” and we must listen. No, we are equals and they are encroaching on the spiritual life, corrupting this domain with monetary motives.
“I have described here an aspect of hygiene or health care as a social issue that is utterly dependent on a free spiritual life. We must have a spiritual life in which within the spiritual realm there are those engaged in nurturing this spiritual life, even in so far as it extends into the various practical domains such as hygiene; they must be completely independent of everything that does not yield pure knowledge, that does not bring about the nurture of spiritual life. What the individual can achieve for the greatest benefit of his fellow man must grow entirely out of his own capacities. There should be neither governmental norms nor a dependence on economic powers. The individual’s achievements must be placed entirely in the sphere of the intimate, personal connections that only exist between individuals, in the trust, based on understanding, that those who require the services of a capable person can bring to that person. There, a spiritual life is needed – independent of all authority, governmental or economic – which is active in a manner that arises purely out of spiritual forces. If you consider what can bring about a hygiene intimately united with insight into human nature and social behavior, you will also recognize that the spirit obviously must be managed by those who nurture it; not the specialists active as experts in governmental agencies but rather those active in spiritual life must be the sole managers of this spiritual life. This becomes especially clear if one goes into the individual branches of activity, such as hygiene, with real experience, as is required by the separate, concrete realms – and this could be shown to hold good in other realms as it does for hygiene. When hygiene or health care exists as a real social institution, based on social insight arising from the free spiritual life, then the economic aspects of such a hygiene can be handled in a totally different way, especially if the independent economic life is constituted as I have described in my book, The Threefold Social Order. If the forces for the nurture of hygiene or health care that are latent in society, resting in its womb, as it were, are taken up with human understanding, if they result in social institutions, then out of the independent economic life, without consideration of the dependence on profit or governmental impulses, can emerge what is necessary to support a genuine hygiene. Only then will the kind of idealism enter economic life that is necessary for the nurture of hygiene in human life. If the mere profit motive prevails in our economic sphere, it always has the tendency to become increasingly incorporated into the political state, and the generally accepted opinion is that one must produce what yields the most profit. If this idea continues to prevail, then the independent impulses of a free spiritual life cannot manifest in the domain of hygiene or health care, and spiritual life will then become dependent on political or economic forces; then the economic will govern the spiritual, but the economic must not prevail over the spiritual. This fact is most evident to one who wants to arrive at what the spirit demands in economic life, to one who wants to serve a genuine and true hygiene. The forces of the free economic life in the threefold social organism arrive at the insight which becomes a matter of public concern; an understanding of the human being becomes a public concern in the threefold social organism. The human being must stand within a free spiritual life in order that a firmly grounded hygiene can be nurtured. On the other hand people must develop the idealism through which the products of the economic life are met with an understanding that results not merely from a sense for profit but out of insights emerging from the free spiritual management of hygiene or health care. Once this insightful, social human understanding has arisen, this human idealism, there will emerge a willingness to work economically simply because the social situation of humanity requires hygienic service. If these requirements are met, people will be able to meet democratically in parliaments or other such gatherings. For then, out of a free spiritual life, the recognition emerges of the necessity for hygiene as a social phenomenon; attention to what is necessary for hygiene as a social issue emerges from an impartial and professionally managed economic life through the high intentions that would be developed within it. Then mature human beings will deliberate on the ground of the economic life out of their insight and understanding of the human being as well as out of their relations to an economic life at the service of hygiene. Then people will be able to meet as equals within the legislative, rights, or economic life concerning the measures that are necessary regarding hygiene and the care of public health. Were all this to come about, however, laymen or dilettantes would not do the healing; rather, the mature person will encounter as an equal and with understanding whoever advises him on matters of hygiene, namely, the experienced physician. For the layman, the understanding of the human being that is nurtured in social life, with the help of the physician, makes it possible to meet expert knowledge equipped with understanding, so that in a democratic parliament the layman is able to say “Yea” with a certain understanding and not merely out of pressure from authority. When we consider impartially how the spiritual, legislative, and economic members of the social organism work together in such a special domain, we discover the complete justification of the idea of the threefold nature of the social organism. This idea is met with disapproval only when it is understood merely abstractly. Today I was able to give you no more than a sketchy indication of what speaks for the necessity of the threefolding of the social organism if one thinks correctly about a particular, concrete domain such as hygiene. If those paths are followed, toward which I have only been able to point today in their beginnings, one will see that whoever meets the impulse of the threefold social organism with abstract concepts will work against it in a certain way. Whoever enters the various domains of life with a full inner understanding, however, entering into the individual realms that matter so much in social life, whoever truly understands something in a concrete realm of life and takes the trouble to understand something about true practical life in any domain, will be led again and again in the direction that has been suggested by the idea of threefolding the social organism. This idea did not arise out of a dreamy or abstract idealism; it arose as a social demand of our time and of the near future, especially out of the concrete and sober observation of the individual domains of life. By penetrating these individual domains of life with what is active out of the impulse for threefolding and social organism, one will find for all these domains just what they so desperately need today. This evening I only wished to give a few indications concerning how what emerges out of spiritual science regarding the social life can penetrate human society as a social concern, arising out of a socially nurtured understanding of the human being. Striving for a realization of the threefold social organism can fructify what can be accepted today only on the basis of belief in authority, through completely blind subjection. Through the enrichment that hygiene or health care can receive from a medicine fructified by spiritual”

Would we really be doing Steiner’s words justice if we apply them to potentially criminal situations?
Let’s say we have a heroin dealer approaching an individual. Must that person be compelled to quieten his own thoughts/misgivings/antipathy on the matter and give the dealer a full platform to make his case?
Let’s go further. What if the Government threatened to withdraw certain rights and privileges if one did not listen to the dealer and indeed actually take the injection?
What I am about to say may seem incredible to those on the other side of the fence – but I’d say that most people who are against these medical procedures would far sooner take the disagreeable option described above than what is actually being forcibly pushed by governments across the world.

Moonsphere, what I understood is that there are baically two choices in the framework of ethics (there must be more): a principled path or a pragmatic way. This is about individual choices in a social context, where it seems you only take the individual dimension into account. In the social context the classic dilemma is: if you have to choose whether to sacrifice the life of one child in order to save the lives of a thousand citizens, what do you do? The pricipled path is based on Kant and says “sacrificing the life of a child will cause total colapse of my worldview, so I reject” with its implications. The pragmatic choise is “if I am able to save the lives of thousand citizens, I have to overcome my principles and choose accordingly”. The Kantian approach originally was the governments’ choice, voiced explicitely by Angela Merkel “no elderly person should die from covid, so we all have to take stringent collective measures”. Later including that we all have to accept vaccination. However, the pricipled path worked out differently as multiple side effects were not taken into account. The pragmatic choice would have been: let everybody make an indivudual choice about restrictions and vaccinations. More (elderly) people would have died but less job losses, less suicides, less bankruptcies, less schools and child education disturbed etc. etc. In the situation of an individual choice only, you can be pragmatic, weighing with ratio the damage you take on for yourself with the supposed benefits of claiming your rights; or making an inspired choice for the fulfillment it gives to remain true to your principles irrespective the impact on yourself (and others). I don’t say one is better than the other. In my own situation I weighed the trouble of isolating myself from my family or taking on the adventure of getting vaccinated with unknown effects. Comparing the government with a heroine dealer is not fair, I think. But anyhow seeing a criminal or the enemy in the eyes with love does not imply surrender, but rather the opposite.

There remain the open questions – I and many would say likelihood – that the virus and vaccine had a symbiotic artificial origin. This leaves the question whether the vaccine has other intended effects – perhaps as per some of Steiner’s predictions (I am not an anthroposophist, and undogmatically am agnostic about much of what Steiner propounded. But have long since come to believe that there is indeed substance to his ‘clairvoyance’ and there is some evidence to that effect).
Or whether the intention was to provide a justification for the measures – control of people’s lives, suppression of the free human individual, transformation of society, etc, under technocracy mediated through technology (here some of Steiner’s most outlandish predictions seem partially verified, and these measures are accepted/advocated by people who were the most vocal little over a year ago in denying that such things could happen.)
As for seeing the enemy with understanding….the uncorrupted core of their person, perhaps; but certainly not the agency that they are when committing these acts: either in full, conscious knowledge at the upper echelons (top govt., heads of global orgs); or, lower down, the more miserable kind who have overturned everything they formerly committed to in terms of respecting rights, freedom and personal bodily autonomy (the civil servants, politicians and media) for personal job security/potential for advancement, or who have wittingly woven a bubble of lies to themselves from fear or to avoid self-confrontation.
What of those in Canada (‘vaccination will become mandatory’), France (‘we will make their [unvaccinated] lives as sh*t as possible’), Israel (‘refusers are a danger to us all’…not borne out, incidentally, by the incidence of infection among the fully vaccinated)?
And the doctors and medical scientists – excluding the ones who merely are aware that the virus is real and dangerous and seek only to extend vaccination to those in danger of illness (the vaccine is certainly somewhat efficacious for this group) – who have thrown their promise of ‘first do no harm’ and adherence to the risk vs benefit principle, and are advocating the abuse of children as human shields to protect the elderly and infirm – these can gladly go to hell I’m afraid. And it increasingly appears that even this poor and contemptible excuse is groundless – infection proceeds irregardless of vaccine status (as per the situation in those regions with near maximum uptake).
As for sacrifice – only if it’s voluntary, otherwise it goes by another name. And never, ever of children.
Attempting to see the world through their eyes only serves a purpose to understand how people can become deeply ruined – not to compromise with their world view. Where people have been fooled, driven by fear, of course – here it is a good thing to try to engage and help if it is possible.
But we are living now in times as serious as, or worse than, the ascendency of fascism – but at a global scale, and hardly a nation free of it (and several of those that are only immune through alternative disorders of local despotism)
Are people afraid to admit this ?
Well, the best thing in the world would be for the above to be wildly paranoiac. But if not, consider, those who doubt, how much of what has happened would have been acceptable were it presented to us as a hypothetical scenario a couple of years ago. Where would the line in the sand have been ? If not at the extension of lockdown, if not at restricting normal lives to those adhering to their right to medical autonomy, if not at extending vaccination to children at a one-in-two-million risk of death from the virus ?
We’ve passed all those points – so where now should it be drawn before we take action ?
Physically forced vaccination?
Internment of those who refuse ?
The extension of electronic passes beyond C19-applications?
Internment of those who refuse the passes ?
Children taken from their families ?
Or when, despite the full and obedient compliance with all demands and measures, they force people into further unimaginable degradations ?
It needs to be decided

Hello Luke,
these are very good thoughts. Far beyond that I would agree or disagree with, or that would have any meaning. There are still two points (new or not) I would like to contribute to the conversation. First, that what is happening now is not a sudden change, but has been prepared by centuries. Including the origin of our present civilization in colonialism. With ssystemic child sacrifices as we have been confronted recently with again. So, chosing individual positions of resistance or compromise are of course of primary importance. But we have to change the course of events at a systemic level as well.
Second point may only be indirectly related to your analysis. It is close to your agnostic relationship to Steiner, while you see supporting evidence for his clairvoyant insights. I feel that in spiritual science, even more than in conventional science, the guidance of Popper is to be taken at heart: we have a duty to try to prove the opposite of our findings (as an effort to confirm them). I think that in particular where Steiner makes “doom” predictions or foresees negative future developments, we have to try to prove him wrong (out of full respect for his capabilities). Not only prove predictions wrong by checking facfs or gathering contradictory evidence. But espevially by intervention. So we take the predictions as warnings and try, with that pre-knowledge try to prevent it happen. So both outcomes are positive:whether we prove Steiners negative predictions wrong and prevent calamities; or we have to confirm that Steiner was right …

These are not simply MR’s “points” – they are Steiner’s directives. And the definition of what it is to lead “a normal life” necessarily morphs as we participate in the denouement of this epoch.

Two comments I would like to make while risking to be misunderstood. Jeremy, sorry if I am too personal, first it was the EU, now it is the British state (with monopoly of violence against you). Behind it all is Ahriman who threatens you to incarnate in person and reign over you. Yes, please try to have empathy and be aware that they all may have good intentions. They don’t want to rob your job or enter your body against your will. They may have stupid or eveil intentions but they need you to talk to them, even though they pretend that they don’t want to listen. Your words will melt them down if you speak with them with love. Not only formally listen or ‘respect’ but genuinely speak with yourself through them.
Second comment is that I feel it is absolutely unfair to compare the anthroposophical movement with a bucket of crabs (Kathy, sorry, it may have been you ‘Double’ who suggested you this picture). Only one hope giving development of many I can mention within the limitations: the World Goetheanum Association (WGA) I highlighted earlier had a programme this year to reach out globally. Including Asia (where I live). So recently I had the opportunity to listen by zoom, as only one example of many very interesting resource persons, to Marjatta van Boeschoten, chairperson of the Anthropop Societyy of England if I am not wrong. What a powerful presentation and lovely person with exceptional strength. At being questioned, I gave my opinion that the WGA is the very promising branch on the anthropop trunk which may make it possible to work together with professionals and social entrepreneurs beyond the small circle we are operating in normally, leading to a decline comparative with the churches. We need to overcome our hang-ups with “Ahriman out there” and join forces with the people of goodwill all over the world to make the difference which is needed so much.

It’s an independent site, but has it seems interpreted the Eudravigilence website accurately.
(If anyone has links to an official or verifiable breakdown of the UK Yellow-card results for similar – if Jeremy doesn’t mind – please add it as a reply; US & other equivalents also. Just as a convenience and for the record for those who might find ir helpful)

Actually, Jeremy, while the figures seem to tally with the EMA site, that site has taken their piece from a dodgy antisemitic conspiracy site.
Nor sure who originally interpreted the data, but better to either ignore my last post or at least add this addendum to it. Polluted information, even if accurate. Thanks.

It is not a me versus them for myself. Was speaking of truth which is either so or not so. Listening to another person is no problem as a small door just might open to insert a treasure, even if you get a blank stare.
Tyranny, the USA is under attack from Washington. The FDA still has not approved any vaccine. Why not? There is an abundance of ‘free’ information from the human Guinea pigs at this moment. When has big pharma ever been able to achieve such results out of a laboratory setting?

Hans, you couldn’t have said it better: “We need to overcome our hangups with Ahriman-out-there”. Unfortunately, I wasn’t referring only to the Anthroposophical Society as the frightened crabs – I meant mankind. But you are so right – it’s definitely my A. Double behind this snarky humor – It thinks it’s a survival mechanism.

Sorry, Kathy for misunderstanding that. The bucket with crabs may be a good metaphore for how you felt at a certain moment. If that would be the situation where humanity is in I definitely think, and probably we will agree, that the anthroposofical movement offers a constructive path with better perspective.

This morning I read a NYT column by Farhad Manjoo which is very relevant for the questions we are exploring related to this post. “The internet didn’t start the fire, but it is undeniable that it has fostered a sour and fragmented polity – an atmosphere of pervasive mistrust, corroding institutions and a collective retreat into the comforting bosom of confirmation bias. All of this has undermined our greatest trick: doing good things together.”
Later he writes about Elinor Ostrom and her response to the Garrett Hardin thesis of the “tragedy of the commons”:
“Ostrom was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 2009. In her prize lecture she wrote that “humans have a more complex motivational structure and more capability to solve social dilemmas” than rational-choice economists have given us credit for. The key to unlocking these capabilities, she said, was building the right institutions. Markets and nation-states had taken us only so far. Now, she said, we neededto imagine new kinds of groups that could improve how humans learn and adapt together to take on looming environmental challenges.”
These challenges have been complicated even further than before the Covid wave. But the “solution” equally can be found and co-created in a “commons” driven Middle Way of sister- and brotherhod in the sense of threefolding dynamics. In terms of the Anthroposophical Societ these are movements like the World Goetheanum Association which focus on that. While the society proper is the social-legal body who mediates this oureaching economic and professional, worldly, outreach with the in-depth research as practiced in the School of Spiritual Science.

Unfortunately, the crab bucket metaphor does not speak to me of only a brief moment in time. I know I need to transcend fear of what it portends – but I don’t reject it as a false metaphor of our age. I find no hope in the World Goetheanum Association, et al. Over the years I have experienced Anthoposophical groups in workshops, etc. in New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Along with the good I found, the stench of patriarchy was evident. Devotees do not walk their talk any more as Anthroposophists than we do in other areas of life. Steiner’s teachings are regarded as abstractions and ideals – not as lived experiences. Anthroposophists are disinclined to talk about spiritual efforts, experiences and aims. There is a reason Steiner regarded this fifth post-atlantean epoch as a dead end. He said that of all the epochs, this is the only one that will not be “recapitulated” in a future epoch. Manjoo’s quote resonates with Steiner: mistrust, corrosion and defeat are the hallmarks of our experience here. He said that in this Earth epoch, man shuns spiritual vision and has come to believe he has all the information in the universe at his fingertips – but all men will believe something different and this brings us to the war of all against all.
Meanwhile, as earth civilization devolves, we need the will to keep doing “our greatest trick…doing good things together”. Laying the tracks, creating the thought forms for the next epoch – a new heaven and a new earth?

Dear Kathy,
I nearly reached the edge of the bucket with my WGA and then you tear me down … But, yes, we may disagree in seeing hopeful developments or not. In these times of crisis I tend to look for half full glasses, in particular if they are anthroposophic initiatives, rather than complaining about those not filled up enough. No problem if we agree to disagree …

Hi Kathy,
5th post atltanean epoch is the recapitulation of the old Egyptian/Chaldean epoch.
(In the grand schematic)
IF we make it to the 6th post Atltanean epoch , ( I am counting on the detox nanobot bar, or rather a nice quiet ‘Slavic pub’, with old friends)
We can reminiss about the bygone days of earth evolution or rather revolution,
Sipping champagne on a simulated shoreline brought to us by spideringincorporated……(pardon my inspiration, imagination and intuition)
But for now we ‘swarm, and I try to do the best I can for the Bees’.
Detox! Do the best you can!
Perhaps those buckets of crabs true homelands are the stars……(keeping with the 5th post… theme here)

Dear Ursula and Hans,
I really do get a taste of outside the bucket in our communications – thank you. And it dawns on me there may be no mistake in your pursuit of the glass-half-full in the Orient, Hans. Steiner said developing the true human being is not possible in the West – it would only produce a “soulless population” and prevent Earth from passing over into Jupiter. Looking forward to meeting you both at the Slavic pub!

I seem to recall one of Steiners lectures his claiming our constant pursuit of science or our trying to figure everything out were going to lead to the demise of the human race. Doe’s anyone else recall this? I can’t remember what lecture it was…..

Skinny, I’d like to try to respond to your question, though Steiner’s many teachings build on each other, spanning decades, and feel unfathomable to the logical, yes-or-no, true-or-false mind. For me to grasp what he is saying about the pursuit of science and man “trying to figure everything out” as leading to the “demise of the human race”, I have to go back to his teaching that in our thinking function, we regard ourselves as material beings in real physical bodies, but in reality, we are spiritual beings in illusory physical bodies. What we think we are is false because we are in the process of becoming: “…as human beings, we cannot simply be something, but we can only become something – so along with others we must simply live a waiting life”. (Dec. 6, 1918). Our abstract minds, logic, and our attachments to what he called our sympathies and antipathies put the onus on the illusion of finite physical life to provide us with answers. I understand this to mean that It’s the abstract drive for absolute answers in a finite/relative/illusory world that is a fool’s errand and has brought us to the brink.
Steiner identifies our double bind in the same lecture: “Social community is only possible if we did not live in our sympathies and antipathies – but in that case we wouldn’t be human beings – so we are both social and antisocial at the same time”. And in a lecture on Nov. 30, 1918 he described what I think we are witnessing today in this time of pandemic and climate crisis: “…the world has gradually drifted into chaos. People have neglected to direct their attention to what has really been happening in their immediate vicinity and they are now surprised because the results of this oversight are clearly manifest. They will be still more surprised in future as these results become more clearly manifest…threatening to transform the social structure into chaos.”
I don’t remember him speaking of the demise of the whole human race, but I recall he said more and more of us would “fall away” and it would become harder and harder for those still on the fence as the ages proceed. I hated it when I read it, and I hate it now.

From reading the comments, it would seem that the situation here on the forum mirrors that of the wider public. A unmistakable polarity has opened up. Certainly this divide was already present, but now it has been brought into sharp relief.
Perhaps this can all be distilled down to the phrase “conspiracy theory” and how we think about the world. Upthread, lazure painter posted a link to a youtube video which caught my interest. Not because it was a particularly good film, more because it had a well known actor in it – and even more so – the simple fact that it existed at all.
For any who have taken an interest in such things, over a period of years – there is a sense of swimming against the tide – one feels the current in a way that others simply do not. In my view this is part of awakening to the dark forces in the world.
I would make the comparison with spiritual belief. To cross the floor to such a mindset takes no less a transformation than an atheist would require to become a Christian believer.

Many/Most of the people forcing and politically using Tyranny do not have a clue what is the impulse behind their decisions, SOME do know of course.
“Ahriman guides certain forces in evolution in such a way that they may be of the greatest possible advantage to him. And evil would result were people to live on in a state of drowsy unawareness, unable to recognize certain phenomena in life as preparations for Ahriman’s incarnation in the flesh”.
“If Ahriman were able to slink into a humanity unaware of his coming, that would gladden him most of all.” From lecture in Dornach, November 1,1919.
I agree we should seek positive like minded people, BUT NEVER EVER not be on the ‘lookout’ for this destroyer looming on the horizon. Knowing about this incarnation is one way we have of keeping him in check, so to speak, just as the Holy Rishis knew Lucifer had incarnated and extracted his gifts while keeping him in check. This is basic Anthroposophical knowledge which should never be forgotten. “One group will prove one thing, another its exact opposite, and as both proofs can be shown to be equally logical, hatred and bitterness-of which there is more than enough in the world-will be intensified”. from same lecture mentioned above.

Dear Rose Croix,
I disagree with the statement (of Steiner, without knowing the exact context) that disagreement results in hate. Do you, Rose Croix, hate me because I disagree with you and/or with Dr. Steiner?
And about the wish of Ahriman to incarnate in a person who lacks awareness? Does our resistance thus mean that we should let Ahriman incarnate within our full awareness? NO, we should prevent Ahriman to incarnate. In my perception the best prevention is to deny him/her to incarnate in the way he wishes: as a separate entity. We prevent him to reincarnate, or, like Kathy shows the way if I understand well, we all sacrifice part of our being to let Ahriman incarnate (or be aware of that fact) in such a way that we can keep that part of ourselves under control. Being expectantly awake of where he will incarnate in the flesh others than in ourselves may work out as a self fulfilling profecy.
